Too many souls worry of turmoil
Too much chaos, but where is the peace?
It is always within us,
But we neglect to seek.
Too many minds tunnel on the movement
They lack the ability to know true stillness.
Chaos is external,
The source is true peace.
It is not fighting and trying to suppress confusion
It is stepping back and looking inside.
Not about being a stone wall,
But the pebble that the river flows on.

I like your message about how the peace is within you.
ReplyDeleteI like how your picture perfectly represents your poem.
ReplyDeleteI like how your poem is simple, yet very deep. The picture is a really good choice as well.
ReplyDeleteBy not using specific examples, the vagueness of the poem really expresses the broad idea very well, and reflects how the Tao is unable to be clearly defined or set in stone.
