What Is What, For Who Is Who?
There was something so pure and innocent before humanity
Everything so impeachable and sane
A place where there was no expectations but your own
Where no one could have so much hatred toward themselves
Everyone so ecstatic and contempt with everything
Where life was what you wanted it to be
When everything was a mystery and it was okay
Worry free. Hatred free. Prejudice free
Free.
The pureness and innocence we are born with
Is our way to be free and real
Real to ourselves
Real to the world
A real change
We cannot let the corrupt of the world
Drag us down with it
But rise and show who we are and why we exist
Show everything about anything

i like the repetition
ReplyDeleteI like the ideas you imply about being real and the idea of the world before humanity. The poem flows nicely also.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think that you really understood the message of the story. Your thought process on the topic was clear yet deep, making a very effective impact on the reader.
